Delivers what it promises

Very friendly staff, and the included dinner was very substantial with many choices. It delivered what you could expect from a 3-star small-city hotel, and was just fine.

Not in walking distance to anything of relevance, but this was somewhat expected.

- breakfast really expensive when you pay at the hotel - Not that much Information about Tours, options etc. - there is a menu of the Restaurant that includes breakfast but you can not buy it in the morning

Highly recommended

Very comfortable, big room with balcony and a huge bed. Great room service with big choice and excellent, cheap food. Very nice staff. I highly recommend this hotel, though it's a little out of town, it's easy to reach.

Lacking atmosphere, but don't let that put you off.

No frills, clean and comfortable stay wit a good location and satisfying breakfast

We arrived late after a long drive and the staff member was very nice. The key was not opening the door. so he upgraded us to a suite. The breakfast was satisfying and does the job.

Old decor and the photos do not seem to match. Small upright building, but close to the sea. Good for one or two nights stay if you are looking to be close to snorkeling and turtle watching in Al Hadd

Hotel conveniently located just on outskirts of SUR and a perfect stop over if you plan to go to Wadi Bani Khalid from Muscat OR just stay in SUR.

This was my 4th, possibly 5th time at the hotel and I always request interconnecting room but in all my trips only got it once. This time I had my elderly dad and two special.needs siblings with me and I was really disappointed that yet again, the hotel failed to honor my request made weeks in advance of my arrival. I hate to say this but I.have seen priority for these rooms go to specific passport holders and that's quite a shame. That's my only gripe - all else fine.

I would definitely stay here again!

We had asked for a quiet room and had a lovely clean corner room with large windows on two sides, one overlooking the beachfront and one overlooking the town and mountains. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We purchased the continental breakfast buffet included with the room. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, with fresh fruits, baked goods and hot items and even made to order omelettes. The restaurant in the hotel was also very good with a wide variety of menu options that were reasonably priced. My husband ordered the grilled chicken with BBQ sauce and it was one of the best meals we had on our trip (and for only $5 US) - large portions of moist, well-seasoned chicken that was so tasty he didn't even want to use the BBQ sauce. WIFI service was excellent.

Bring your adapters, as there are no USB power outlets to recharge electronics. Other than that, the only improvement I could possibly suggest is having a clothes drying line in the bathroom.
